Weddings
and beyond.

Weddings
The harp can add an air of elegance to any event – and this makes it perfect for weddings! You can use the harp to be the romantic soundtrack to your wedding ceremony. The ceremony package includes background music as the first guest is seated, entrance of the bride, signing of the register and departure. A drinks reception package is also available were background music is performed and your guests are welcome to “have a go”, which creates great photo opportunities.
All packages include a pre-wedding meeting where you can pick from a wide range of repertoire or discuss special requests. When performing at weddings, the bride can also book for the drinks reception where guests can “have a go”. This is great for photo opportunities and entertains during the window between the ceremony and the breakfast.
Sample Repertoire
I perform a wide range of repertoire to suit the needs of the individual, ranging from classical, traditional, music through the ages and contemporary. For events such as weddings a pre-meeting is offered when the bride can experience pieces performed to help her choose for her special day.

Funerals
To give your loved one a special send off, why not have a beautiful piece of harp music to reflect on their life and the unforgettable moments you have shared together.

Corporate
Events
For corporate events, I can provide background music or play a narrated performance, depending on your requirements.

Care Home Residents
& Dementia Day Centres
There are lots of studies proving that music can be a benefit for those who are elderly and may be suffering from degenerative cognitive diseases. During my visits here, I also take my lap harp that can be easily passed through my audience when people are encouraged to touch the harp and experience the sound themselves. I also do sing-a-longs of common songs such as Moon River, Danny Boy and classics from Musicals. It goes down a treat, I provide the words for those who would benefit including staff and the audience participation is lovely. There is nothing more rewarding for me to see people who are often none responsive suddenly come alive to the music and enjoy participating.

Hospital Recovery
& End of Life Patients
I have gone into the hospital to play at the bedside of patients such as coma victims. It isn’t uncommon to get requests from family members to go by their loved one’s bedside and play a few relaxing tunes to create a break in their day.
I also play for end of life. Palliative care is an upsetting time for everyone, and by having harp music accompanying them on their final journey, it creates an air of ambience and is relaxing for everyone during this upsetting time.

Proposal
If you are looking at ways to create that special moment whilst asking the love of your life to marry you. Why not book me to set the scene with the romantic sound of the harp!

Have some elegant music to add to your christening. It could be as people enter the church or during the reception. A little unique twist to make your day even more memorable!

Surprise
Visits

Charity
Events
As a musician, I feel it is important to support local charities. By providing my services, I can contribute in other ways. I can do a short performance or background music. I am versatile and happy to work with any ideas to suit.

Luncheon
Clubs
I regularly perform for Church Luncheon Clubs and provide entertainment of music and poetry. It makes the afternoon a little different and very memorable.

Teaching the Harp
Whether you are interested in learning the harp for pleasure or to work through your grades, bespoke lessons can be arranged around your personal needs. A wonderful way of finding relaxation through your own fingertips. Ages start from young which is great to strengthen the general learning process, through to retirement when there is often more time to discover new pleasures in life.
